teaching- Lab A1

here is my transcript for lab A2

One thing that I did well in my mini lesson was having the drills progress in difficulty. I started off with just working on foot work and then progressed  to having them play defense on someone with the ball. I also spoke loud and clearly so that everyone could hear me. I need to work on being well prepared for lessons, I need to talk to the students while they are performing the lessons and give them feedback on what they can do to improve their skills and correct them if they are doing something wrong. I also need to give them some positive feeback. From being able to watch myself teach, I believe that this will improve my teaching skills. It helps to be able to see the positives and negatives of how your teaching, and it shows you first hand exactly what you need to work on in order to become a good teacher.

I've never had a blog before but it's been interesting making an account, I look forward to seeing how it goes. Over winter beak I coached an indoor lacrosse team; This really gave me a chance to work on my teaching. Everyday we had lacrosse I had the opportunity to teach the players different skills that would help develop them into stronger lacrosse players. Today was our first day of class and we went over the syllabus, I also had to fill out an application for the phys. ed department.
