here is my task progressions.

This week in class we had the opportunity to perform our lab c's. The lesson that I was teaching was krumping. At first I thought I was going to have some trouble with this lab because this was the first time that I've heard about krumping. I put a lot of time and effort into this lab and overall I thought I did a lot better than the other labs. Every day I'm learning more and more and I feel like i've come along way since the begining of class. I can't stop now I need to keep working hard and keep improving because I still have a lot of room for improvement. A few things that I need to work on for next lab are to stop saying you guys. I try not to say it but it tends to slip out and i don't even notice I'm saying it until i watch the video of my teaching lesson. I need to continue to keep loosening up. Every lab I feel more and more comfortable. Another thing I need to work on is maybe making sure I'm speaking clearly so everyone can understand me. I'm really looking forward to our next lab and it should be even more of a challenge.

201- getting ready for dinosour lab

This week during our lab we had a chance to go over some of the games that we are going to be teaching at St. Mary's. The game that I am going to be teaching is tunnel ball. The students will be divided into two or three teams. Each team will line up in a single file line with their legs spread apart. The person at the end of the line starts with a ball in their hands and then sprints up to the front of the line and rolls the ball inbetween their teammates legs. Once the ball has made it through all of your teammates legs the student at the back of the line gets the ball, sprints to the front of the line and rolls the ball through. The students keep performing this until a team reaches the finish line. I think the students will have a lot of fun with this game.

Getting ready to teach my Krumping lesson.

here is my lesson plan, skill progression, technology, test, and assessment

here is my block plan

here is my scope and sequence.

Over the past week or two I have been getting ready and preparing my Krumping lesson. This lab should be a good test of where I stand. This lab our lesson has to be 15 minutes, we also had to prepare a lesson plan, skill progressions, assessments, scope and sequence, block plan, and use a technology. We are starting to put all the pieces together and I feel like i've been learning a lot this semester. I hope lab c runs smoothly because I've really been working hard on it.

St. mary's western theme- Lab 3

 here is my Lab 3

This week we had our western them at St. Mary's. I think everything ran pretty smoothly this week. I'm becoming a lot more comfortable with the kids and it feels like it's getting easier every week. I can tell I've been having a good time with the students because it feels like the time flies by. This week I was in the classroom with the kindergarten students and I had a lot of fun. At the end of the day I also lead a song for everyone, since the theme was western I did a remix to the ants go marching in with the horses go marching in. I'm already looking forward to going back when we get back from our spring break.

Second Jump Rope Lesson- heel lift and straddle run

here is my Time coding form.

here is my feedback analysis

here is my Verbal Transcript

This week we had our second jump rope lab. The skills that I had for my jump rope lab were the heel lift and the straddle run. I feel like I did better on this lab than the first jump rope lab. I felt a lot more comfortable this time around, I also knew what to expect from the first jump rope lab. Every day I'm learning more and more and I feel like I'm making progress. One thing that I need to do better in my next teaching lesson is stop saying " you guys." When I say it I'm talking to everyone but I need to stop using that and maybe change it to "everyone." Another thing that I need to do better is try to spend less time talking and giving instruction and spend more time performing our skills and activities. I hope to keep learning and getting better every single day.

Powerpoint Lessons and St. Mary's Lab 2- cartoon theme

Here is my Motor Development Lab.
This week in class we started to present our powerpoints to the class. Our group the " playground pirates" had chapter 4. We all worked hard on our powerpoint and really pulled in a lot of information. It was also nice to be able to see other groups present their chapters because it helps you learn the information and also gave you ideas on how you should present you chapter. This week we went back to St. mary's and this time at the begining we had the chance to evaluate two students and assess them on running, galloping, and hoping. This week I was in the classroom with the kindergarten students. We had cartoon pictures for the students to color in, and I also sang a mickey mouse version of the hokey pokey. I had a lot of fun working with the students this week and I look forward to going back next week.

Getting ready for our second jump rope lesson

This week during class we got some time to work on our second jump rope teaching lesson. The two jump rope skills that I have this lesson are The Heel Lift and the Stradle Run. After reviewing my skills and going over them in class I feel confident in being able to teach these skills. This week we were also introduced to our C Lab. For C Lab I have crumping, I look forward to learning more about crumping. Also, For Lab C were adding a lesson plan and also a skill progression chart. It's pretty interesting learning how to put lesson plans and skill progression charts together.
